Charging

Ford offers three different levels of charging you can choose from. Level 1 uses basic charging from any standard 120V wall outlet, best for smaller charges and those who drive less than 20 miles a day. Level 2/Plug-In plugs into a NEMA 14-50 AC power outlet (the same as an electric stove) and can charge the Mustang Mach-E with an extended-range battery in 14 hours. The next option is Level 2/Wired-In, which is a permanently hard-wired charging solution connected to your home’s electrical system. The option can charge an extended-range battery in 11 hours. The last level is Level 3 (DC Fast Charging) is the fastest charging option for occasional needs, however, this option would require major changes to a residential electrical system. Level 3 chargers are the typical charger you would find at a public charging station. You will have access to The BlueOval, the largest public charging network in North America.
